<p><em>Lack of self-esteem among students makes them believe that they are not proficient enough or do have the needed skills to succeed academically. The perceived lack seems resulting from observed anti-humanistic teaching and learning system bedevilling all levels classrooms. Literature confirms critical thinking skills, relationship communication which affect their self-esteem. This study is positioned respond issue by presenting humanistic pedagogy as a approach develops holistically. It lensed within purview transformative paradigm since it focuses on how could be transformed towards gaining will promote academic, social societal development. Humanistic Pedagogy theory was presented alongside its principles assumptions achieve this. How related humanism building students' also presented. concluded student-centred classrooms, feelings values, creativity innovation, humanising humankind dimensions development students. recommends teachers at education adopt pedagogical processes in </em></p>
